Scotland begin their Six Nations campaign against Italy at Murrayfield on Saturday afternoon. When the two sides met in the championship last year, Scotland avoided an upset by coming from behind to win 29-27 in Rome. Italy have only won eight times in the 29 matches they have played against Scotland, with the Scots winning on 21 occasions.

Last year saw Scotland victories seven times overall, with notable wins over England and France, whereas Italy won just twice.
